The third meeting of the International Coordination Committee for the Implementation of the Management Plan for Stećci was held in Sarajevo on September 11, 2017.
During the Meeting, previous activities on the implementation process of the Management Plan were analyzed and informations about the reactions from the World Heritage Center regarding the marking of the sites were exchanged.
Special attention was paid to the Communication strategy and communication activities with partners, i.e. citizens and visitors. Representatives of the countries involved in the project – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, and Serbia – shared previous experiences and activities related to cataloging, mapping and maintaining of the sites.
The members of the International Coordination Committee for the implementation of the Management Plan for Stećci also discussed a project about filming movies about the sites with stećci, which will present each site individually to the general public, as well as a film that will feature all necropolises from four countries.
