Experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, and Serbia participated in the Stone Conservation workshop held in Žabljak, Montenegro, from 6-10 November 2017.
The Workshop was organized and hosted by the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, and it was facilitated by Mr. Simon Warrack, UNESCO and ICCROM expert on Cultural Heritage conservation.
This Workshop, which also included a fieldwork component, is the first in a series of workshops to be held with the aim to define a unique conservation methodology which will be applied on all 28 sites of the serial World Heritage property Stećci – Medieval Tombstones Graveyards.
